Halal Afghani restaurant

Bamiyan Kabob is a halal Afghani restaurant with multiple locations around GTA. As the name suggests, they are famous for their succulent and well-seasoned Kabobs. Moreover, they offer around ten different types of kabobs on their menu. Furthermore, each platter comes with sides of rice and salads which you can enjoy.

Spiced with authentic Afghani flavors, one can find a large variety of kabobs in chicken, lamb, and beef at this restaurant. Though it is impossible to select a favorite from such a vast variety, the Choppan Kabob is a must try. These grilled lamb chops are succulent because of the spices in which they marinated in.

For the adventurous sort of people who like to try spicy food, they have some dishes worth trying. Do ask them for suggestions, though. Their marinated ground beef kabob known as Chappli kabob is juicy and flavorsome. The fresh piping hot Afghani Naan compliments the kabob perfectly.

It’s safe to say that no Afghani meal is complete without Kabilee rice. Incidentally, Bamiyan Kabob serves the best one in town. They serve you an aromatic plate of brown basmati rice with lamb chunks. It has carrots, raisins and almonds. This fusion of sweet and spicy Kabilee rice is reminiscent of Afghan warming spices.

Sweet tooth cravings

Bamiyan Kabob offers “Firnee” on their dessert menu. It is a rice pudding cooked in milk with a dash of cardamom. The crushed pistachios over the firnee add flavor and beauty to it. The topmost layer of soft, creamy crust is delicious whereas when one delves deeper, the creamy delicacy melts in the mouth and tastes just like heaven.
